People will be able to open an online bank account in Kotak Mahindra Bank, sitting at home through video calls. 

⇛According to the latest banking updates, Kotak Mahindra Bank is giving permission to KYC to customers through a video call. This will make it easier to open a bank account from anywhere.

⇛Under the video conferencing KYC system, customers have to provide Aadhar card and PAN card to open the "Kotak 811 Savings Account" of Kotak Mahindra Bank. For this, first of all customers will have to go to the official website of the bank and submit a request to open a new account. After this, a bank official will complete the process on a video call with the customer.

⇛According to Kotak Mahindra, savings interest would be 4.5% for daily balances above Rs 1 lakh and 3.75% interest for balances within Rs 1 lakh. In January this year, Rabi released Guideline to complete the video-based kissing process.
