⇉Airtel and Nokia have entered into a deal worth Rs 7636 crore to increase the 4G network and strengthen the 5G capabilities in India. Together, they will install 5G solutions in 9 circles of the country.⇉Nokia is the fourth-largest seller of the Airtel 4G network. Nokia will be helping Airtel to set up 3 lacks radio units operating across different spectrum across the country.
⇉According to GSMA, India is currently the world's second-largest telecom market. It is expected that by 2025, it will reach 92 crore, mobile customers. These include 8.8 million 5G connections.
⇉As mentioned in recent telecom news, According to the Nokia Mbit Index 2020, the country's service demand and traffic will grow much faster than in 2019, which is 47 percent higher.
⇉All networks will be able to manage from the same platform.
Nokia will allow the SRAN solution operator to manage 2G, 3G, and 4G networks from a single platform, reducing their complexity.
