According to the Service Sector Updates, The National Restaurant of India is working on the technology platform. which will Initially introduce options such as online orders, food delivery, and Contactless food delivery to reduce its dependence on food aggregators like Swiggy, Zamato.

Soon Restaurant will do business on its own digital platform. The food aggregator has created problems for the restaurant industry. So now all the restaurants will be connected to the digital platform for business. With this, only the Restaurant will have ownership over the consumer data. There will be no food aggregator between the restaurant and the customer.

Recently, Food Service Aggregator and Delivery app Zamato has announced to start contactless service. This initiative of Zamato promotes social distancing in the country.
