The E-learning Platform Unacademy was Hacked by Hackers. || E-Learning news

Online Teaching updates-: The hackers stole information of 2.2 crore students from Unacademy. 

According to a US-based security firm "Cyble", hackers have hacked India's leading E-learning platform, Unacademy, and stole data of more than 22 million students. Now these details are being sold online on the dark web platform. It also includes details of the employees of Wipro, Infosys, Google, and Facebook as well.   


These stolen content has been put on sale on May 3 for $2000(1.5 lack crores). Unacademy recently received $110 million (835 crores rules) in funding from Facebook, General Atlantic, and Sequeway.  According to the Recent E-learning News report, the data that has been leaked from the website of Unacademy includes many important information like students' username, password, login, e-mail ID, full name, account status, and profile.


In the meantime, the Unacademy has recommended that students and teachers change their powers immediately.
