Week's Economic Updates- 8 big announcement by the finance minister.
1) In the 4th relief package details,50 coal blocks will be given to the private sector, however, Revenue Has to share with the government. The government will now allow commercial mining in the coal sector. This will increase competition.
2) Private investment will be increased in the mineral sector.
500 mining blogs will be opened for private companies through auction. The difference between captive and non-captive mines will be eliminated.
3) Make in India in defense production. FD will be increased from 49% to 74%. A list of some weapons will be made, they can be bought only in the country. It will not be imported.
4) Air space will be used better, investment of 13 thousand crore will come through 12 airports. Restrictions will be removed using the airspace. The airport will be auctioned on a PPP basis. The tax wave will be made easier for the maintenance of the aircraft.
5) Power distribution work will be in the hands of private companies in the Union Territory. Smart prepaid meters will be installed. Power distribution will be private in the Union Territories.
6) 8100 crores for the private sector in social infrastructure. Private investment will also be emphasized in social infrastructure.
7) Private companies will get a chance in the space sector too. Private firms will also participate in the journey ahead of the country's space sector. Those companies that have the ability to set-up satellites or launch it or can offer services related to the snake will get a chance.
8) Reactors will be started through PPP, research on affordable treatment will be started. It will be for medical isotopes. Technological development and incubation centers to be built.
